Our priority at Doring DDS has always been to preserve and protect our patients’ health and safety while providing quality comprehensive dental care. As usual, we continue to follow all guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association (ADA.) We have always provided a sterile and safe, environment to protect your health, both oral and otherwise.
As Healthcare providers, we’ve been fortunate enough to have received priority access to the Covid-19 immunizations. Our team is dedicated to putting your health first, to ensure your visits with us are the safest they can be. We look forward to seeing you again soon and continuing to serve you with the highest level of care.
If you are nervous about coming in for your dental appointment due to Covid-19, please inquire with our team about our private appointments in our new exclusive operatory.
Our infection control measures includes, but are not limited to the following:
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For all procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and antimicrobial hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We possess and use all necessary protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and protective clothing. Worn by our team and changed regularly, Personal Protective Equipment is designed to protect everyone in our practice from exposure to infectious agents.
Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices
All Instruments and equipment used during your care are always sterilized and disinfected to CDC specifications. This ensures proper infection control and the health of our patients and team. Every item used is opened fresh from a sterilized packet or is a brand-new disposable item. The sterilization process is rigorous and includes dry heat sterilization (autoclave) and chemical sterilization.
We use medical-grade air purifiers in our practice, which scrub and clean the air multiple times per hour. They are located in each operatory and throughout the office. During your appointment we use extraoral, high-speed evacuation suction to remove aerosols, further reducing the spread of bacteria and virus.
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized on a regular basis by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill bacteria and viruses.
Our entire operatory is disinfected after every appointment with EPA registered cleaning agents to kill viruses and bacteria.
Thank you for your trust and confidence in our team. We will continue to monitor and comply with the most up to date recommendations in infection control standards, in delivering your dental care. We look forward to taking care of you at your next appointment and wish you and your family the very best.
